This nationally recognised first aid course teaches the essential skills and knowledge to recognise emergencies and provide immediate, effective care to a person experiencing a sudden illness or injury. Combining practical, hands-on training with current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines, participants will gain the confidence to perform CPR, use an AED, and respond appropriately to a wide range of first aid emergencies until emergency services arrive.
About This Course
On-site Theoretical and Practical Component
This HLTAID011 course is delivered entirely face-to-face in one convenient, on-site session, taking approximately 7-8 hours. During this session, participants will learn all required first aid theory, receive hands-on instruction from an experienced trainer, and complete all practical skills and assessments in the same location. There are no separate theory classes or online modules, everything is completed in one streamlined, engaging session.
