HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
This nationally recognised course provides the practical skills and knowledge to respond confidently to emergencies in education and care settings. It covers CPR, AED use, asthma, anaphylaxis, and the management of childhood illnesses and injuries, in line with the latest Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
Includes:
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resusciation valid for 12 months
HLTAID010 - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support valid for 36 months
HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid valid for 36 months
Assessment Structure:

About This Course
On-site Theoretical and Practical Component
This HLTAID012 course is delivered entirely face-to-face in one convenient, on-site session, taking approximately 8 hours. During this session, participants will learn all required first aid theory, receive hands-on instruction from an experienced trainer, and complete all practical skills and assessments in the same location. There are no separate theory classes or online modules, everything is completed in one streamlined, engaging session.
